I got to go to Vegas this weekend and hang out with some of my very favorite people.
I was roommates with the best girls my freshman year of college: Mindy, Chantal, my cousin Anganel and my sister Beth.
We haven't seen each other in about 15 years so it was so good to get together.
I've missed these girls. Here are some pix from my phone. I'm too tired to load them off my camera, so they'll come later.
Maybe.

Maybe.
We started our adventures with pedicures. Always super fun.
Then, we headed to the strip. Always so much excitement...and so, so many weird people.
It makes me really grateful for my life.
And that it's boring. And predictable.
And, we rode the roller coaster at New York, New York.
This is the 2nd time I have ridden this ride in my life, and it has rained both times.
In Vegas. In the middle of a desert.
There weren't even any rain clouds yesterday and it literally only rained for about 20 seconds. Just enough to get us wet, which mixed really well with all the secondhand smoke and general disgustingness (hmmm, that's actually a word) of the strip.
We rushed home, cleaned up and went to WICKED!
HOORAY!
I have wanted to see Wicked for so long and I was not disappointed. It was so, so good.
And funny.
Something I did not expect, but appreciated.
Earlier in the day, after we rode the roller coaster and were rushing back to the car so we could eat dinner before Wicked, Beth noticed a heavenly oasis right across the street from where we were.
Guys, there's a Pinkberry on the strip.
PINKBERRY!!!
I know I obsess about a lot of things in life, but Pinkberry is definitely in my top 5 favorite things of all time.
Possibly my top 3.
But, sadly, we were running super late and there is no jay-walking on the strip so, we continued running back to the car.
I was really sad.
However, these girls are all rock stars and insisted we make the treacherous journey back down the strip at 11:30 pm just to go to Pinkberry.
The best part was that there is a CVS Pharmacy next door to Pinkberry and we parked in their lot (we had to buy something at CVS but it was totally worth it), so we were able to park close for free.
A Pinkberry miracle.
I promised them it would be life-changing and they all loved it.
Yum! Just thinking about it makes me smile. Everyone needs a hobby and Pinkberry is mine.
I actually bought another one on our way out and froze it over-night. It thawed just enough by the time we hit St. George this morning on our way home that I had the perfect mid-morning snack.
Mmmmm. Frozen heaven.
Is it sad that Pinkberry was a definite high-light of my whole weekend?
